OUCH! one after another, ms really needs to pick up on their exclusives it seems

Joystiq

A brutal combination of brain-numbing monotony and maddening aggravation. Unless you're in dire need of a Dynasty Warriors-esque fix, Ninety-Nine Nights 2 is not for you.

40/100

1UP

Decidedly average and forgettable. While you can extract some fun from taking down large swaths of enemies with a friend, the repetitive combat can't sustain the 20-plus hour campaign.

50/100

Don't know what Gamespot gave this game still, but two of my most valued review sites giving this game such low marks can't be a good sign..how long has this been in development doesn anyone know?

ps: I forgot almost! isn't this One Mirrionnnnnn trooooooops!?

Yeah, because Ninety Nine Nights has always been a huge Microsoft franchise. Try harder.

Try? :S for what? 99II and crackdown2 are both two of the main exclusives MS had for the year....fact of the matter is both were MS exclusive and both got horrible critical reception (sniper Ghost warrior apparently just got horrible reception as well but THAT is not a follow up to a fan fave and no one really expected it to suck any less)...not trying here, no need to...sounds like someone is a bit touchy and hurt over the scores here, not my problem, try a bit harder next time tho on that defense job ya doing k? ;) kiu it's fun to read

Well actually the main exclusives MS have this year are Halo Reach, and Crackdown 2.

But I will agree with you that MS needs to stop picking worthless games as exclusives from 3rd parties.

Not to mention ME2 which did amazingly well, AW did pretty good too..but it's not like MS pops out dozens of exclusive games either so yeah they need to build some more 1st party studios imo

okay okay , enough of me going offtopic , i am still going to enjoy this game since my friend is a fan of the first game , and i liked the first game even though it has some of the worst voice acting, but in the end it was fun , hey no one complains about voice acting in Castlevania and Resident Evil right ?

Yeah I've noticed that the majority of MS's 1st party exclusives are very awesome while most of their 3rd party exclusives tend to suck.

And MS actually has a decent amount of 1st party studios, but it seems most of them are just sitting back and twiddling their thumbs instead of making more awesome games.

I can't believe somebody said this was one of MS most important exclusives this year...

  1. Halo Reach
  2. Fable III
  3. Kinect Sports
  4. Kinect Adventures
  5. Kinectimals
  6. Mass Effect 2
  7. Dance Central
  8. Alan Wake
  9. Splinter Cell Conviction
  10. Crackdown 2

I think it is not even in the top10 for MS.

Really, try harder.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Its big in Japan I guess

But seriously though...MS is lagging behind Sony and Nintendo in terms of first party exclusives. They really have to work on creating some new IPs.
