How edgy
Time for hype

If you ever notice 90% of all of that is from the older generation. Our generation only learns it from the older generation. If our generation keeps an openmind and ignores the older generation's crap then we can all live happy when they are old and retired.
Just keep an openmind on everything and teach everyone you can to keep an openmind. Equality is for the greater good for humanity. Without it we will eventually kill ourselves.
And I dont know if you are religous or not but if you are make yourself an agnostic version of that religion. I'm an Catholic Agnostic. Basically while I was born in and will say that I believe in the greater being of "God" (not specifically the being of what the story book of the Bible says but of a being of good will and of high-power) I am willing to learn and get a greater understanding of how other religions work and what they believe to better objectivify what I believe in overall.
Because of the parents in this world don't know how to raise kids and it doesn't help when you grow up in societies such as America or Afghanistan where your entire country is based around war, criticism, judgement or the rank of the white man. When it comes down to it all people in the world just aren't thankful or appreciative enough so they take it out on other people because they're weak. We are all prisoners of our own mind and we will all act differently depending on how we've been raised.

actually that more comes about from the overall hate that people give to the unfortunate.
everyday WalMart throws away hundreds of thousands of dollars of food because of a power failure that lasted 2 hours because its becomes an insurance write-off rather then maybe donating that food since there is nothing wrong with it. (And yes this is true) There is enough food thrown away jsut by WalMart a year that could feed every homeless or poor citizen in the USA for years.
Its the problem of greed from corporations and poorly aimed hate towards the poor and unfortunate. People can help other people get food and shelter. The only problem is there isnt enough people willing to do so. Yes, it is unfair, but the people not willing to donate time or money to help are greedy, stuck-up, pieces of trash that are made up of the older generation (see my other post).

im an atheist, part of the reason I dont like religion is that people use it as an excuse for those things or worse yet promote those things because of their religion, I dont hate all relgious people (this is @ dsister), I just think that ALOT of them, in particular thoose that I have met, tend to be more bigoted and narrow minded than atheists/agnostics.
The really incredible part is that, generally speaking, things have been steadily getting better for the past 500 years or so.
Just think of all the discrimination that went on 50 years ago. Or the fact that there was no welfare state 100 years ago. 500 years ago, literacy rates Europe were less than 1%, the Sun was thought to revolve around the Earth, and bleeding people was considered to be a great way to treat disease.
It's easy to look at how far we have to go and lose heart, but try to keep in perspective how far we've come in only a couple dozen generations. The problems of the day always seem so overwhelming, but we do seem to have a knack for slowly and clumsily solving them, even if the process isn't as painless as it could be.

All we need is some Aliens to invade Earth. Thats when we humans will realize. "Oh shit, maybe we should stop fighting eachother"
The way we treat the earth is no better. Scientists are even making theories that Mars could be a similar picture of what we're doing to the earth today. That planet was sucked dry of its resources. It was once livable. We're a virus like race.

the question i have is this, what is worse, having a company waste tons of money/food using it as a tax write off, or having a system that encourages your clients to waste tons of money/food. I more or less point the finger at the insurance company insuring the goods that doesnt look at things on a case to case basis, and not incouraging the donation of the food.

in many cases, both of those are the sides on the same coin.
