I think Kinect will do all right at 150 bucks.

But, it will mainly sell to the existing install base of the 360.

I just don't think casuals are going to want to fork over 300 for a 360 (assuming their isnt an arcade slim) and then another 150 for Kinect. Especially when the Wii will be sitting on the shelf right next to it at 199.

but the thing is snyper dud, the partners who wanted a 360 or a ps3 will have a reason to get one now, and that is the point of view ms and sony are doing this for, why get 2 consoles when you can get one that does both

Based on different things I've read on gaf (specs and whatnot), I'm actually becoming more and more convinced that the $150 price tag IS just a ruse on Microsoft's part.  I think it'll be a decent bit less than that, when I was absolutely convinced otherwise a week ago.

We'll see how things turn out come August.
