Because weknow the 360 will fail mechanically and dont usually buy american electronics?

that comment is strange considering you guys were gobboling up 360s when they actually were very prone to hardware failure. Nice try though.

Its because more people prefer the software options and the extra features they get with ps3s. While America and UK prefer the software 360 has and more people want to play online with their friends who have 360s so they buy 360s themselves.

Uh, it's ~10k (favoring PS3) now, and PS3 sells ~20k weekly in Japan while 360 sells ~5k.  That's 25k.

Someone is not good at math 110-90 = 20k since the PS3 will likely post at least 20 k in Japan and 360 will be under 5 you are looking at least a 35 k deficit overall.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
