I don't think Final Fantasy XIII had anything to do with his PS3 breaking down... I mean, if it really was FFXIII that did that, then everyone who bought and played the game should have the same problem because all the discs have the same copy of the game. It's not like they put different versions of the game in each different disc, lol.

I think they are saying that maybe a certain batch of the physical discs were mis-shapen or off balance which caused wear on the machine over time.

- damn, people just like to sue someone; but then we'll see.. i don't know or heard anything about this issue and if it were true i would not want it to happen to me either
- besides, i doubt that they'll win; best-case scenario they'll most likely get a settlement
- i think sony can fix their issue with these lawsuits if they have better Customer Service

I wonder that there are still people out there who believe that one single game broke their console... *facepalm*

5 million? isn't a new ps3 enough?

Even that would be ridiculous because the "death" or the problems of his ps3 were definitly not caused by FF XIII.

The first sentence uses the term "class action".

I think thats the problem....people don't seem to know what class action means.

Also I know about this issue in question, happened to someone I know.

This issue is caused by final fantasy 13 (I should find a video to show you how the issue progresses because of Final Fantasy 13), but this issue most likely effected such a small percentage of people, that it really does not matter. This isn't the RROD, or the YLOD.....it is just some issue that happened to very small percentage of individuals.
