As it has been stated before, 'winning' E3 is not something that is based on personal opinion or even public opinion. Its pretty much just a guage of media opinion and 'wow' factor following the major press conferences. Both of which have greatly to do with the hype of the gaming media who are actually at the event. And if the double punch of Zelda Wii and full 3DS specs are shown, its going to be pretty hard for anything to top that. No matter how much MS/Sony has been trying to hype Natal/Move or how much the gaming press has a bias against Nintendo.
As for Metroid, a new Metroid, done by the original Metroid team AND Team Ninja is being released for the Wii. You can't really ask for more than that. This game has the potential to do for Metroid what Ocarina of Time did for Zelda. I too would like to see Metroid return to the best handheld system of all time (and possibly the best system of all time, the DS). However, let's not snub Other M yet.
