Forums - Gaming - Has Final Fantasy VII not aged well?

It hasn't aged that well. But i still love it

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

id like a rerelease with up-to-date character models and a touched up world map remastered soundtrack everything else is fine and its easier to do then a full remake

OT: i think it aged better then FF8 where every character looks REALLY messy and the world is ugly... i think FF9 aged very well

Gameplay wise it aged just fine, it is just that the graphics looks atrocious.

FFIX aged much much better.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Is 9 out on PSN yet?

(For Americas)

I can hardly think of a PS1 game that aged well. I'd rather play SNES games.

Visually speaking of course.

I didn't like it to begin with, but I'll say that it hasn't aged well. I feel that it was out-dated by at least 2001.

I think Crash bandicoot has aged rather nicely.. to date it looks on par with some ps2 games.
