I've stopped caring. Was the same with FFXIII, the wait was just too long for me to anticipate it.

I'll help you understand dtewi:

For example, the PS3 version of FFXIII was probably dormant for a couple of months while SE was making the 360 version. What Carl means is that they should have released the PS3 version once it was completed and then the 360 version a couple of months later. Not everybody will have to wait in that case.

Of course there's probably a whole business decision behind releasing both versions at the same time.

Timed exclusive is the word.

That does make more sense though (and is probably the best option), but I didn't see Carl say it.

Impatient? Waiting 5 years for a game, then being annoyed when it gets delayed even more, for a console it will sell a whole lot less on... Is being impatient?

That will mean extra marketing costs when they release the xbox 360 version & lower sales as its a late port. S-E probably saw it as a loose loose situation in that way.

Yeah not to mention Microsoft paying for the FF13 advetising campagain probabily helped coerce Sqaure into that one.

@alexth, yeah i half agree, i've never been a huge fan of Tetsuya Nomura and the wait is ridicioulously long. Sqaure need to really change the way they do things with future titles.

FFXII came out in 2007 spring, I waited for 3 years, where is your 5 year figure coming from?
