The last i heard about it was about a year ago (after e3) and it was a rumor that it was cancelled back then. I'm still hoping it's all just rumors though.

By that logic Call of Duty should have sold like crap on the consoles this gen too. Or previous Batman games tanked hard so obviously not a series that could sell a few million with the right team developing and the right marketing.

I'm personally still trying to find a GC or PC version of the original Beyond Good & Evil, I've only heard good things so it's kinda sad if a game just as good was in the making was cancelled, especially given Ubisofts track record, they need some better titles (opinion and I mean better titles that fit my tastes), though the crap they put out does fairly well sales wise.
