One word. Treyarch.

It'll be one of the shittest Call of Duty's out there and Reach has a very good chance of being better than Halo 1. Reach's beta gameplay was already the best in the series imo and it'll only get better in the final product.

What do you mean by  ''full games''? Both Halo Wars and ODTS were sold at the full price. And no one is saying that Halo Reach wont sell tons of copies. And i dont how can you say ''by a HUGE margin'' without playing either one of the games

I voted Reach because the only sensible comparison to make is between Black Ops 360 and Reach. Since Black Ops is a Treyarch game, and not Modern Warfare, it won't sell anywhere near what MW2 sold.

Of course, with both platforms combined, Black Ops will sell better.

I have played Halo Reach so yes I do know.

technacly speaking halo reach is the 3rd halo game this gen. halo 3 odst is an expansion thats why theres a 3 in there. and also wars was an rts and not a fps so no one should be tired of halo fps games because of a rts.also why do you expect reach to sell less then halo 3.  halo 1 sold 6.43 million, 2 sold 8.43 and halo 3 has 11. thats a steady increase each game. also odst a expansion will finish off at about 6.5-7 million. going with past figures i expect halo reach to sell 13 million copies( worst case 11.5 million). and black ops to get to 8 million(9 million tops) on 360

ok lets pretend a BETA is a full game, did you played COD: Black Ops?

ODST is not an expansion, since it was sold at full price on 2 discs. the only thing that was the same with Halo 3 was the multiplayer. And Halo 1 and 2 were really the ONLY ''must have'' games for original Xbox. Halo 3 sold more because it was a first Halo this gen, and it launched on much more succesful console than original Xbox. I excpect Halo Reach to sell 7-9 million copies and Black Ops 8-9.5 million copies

HALO 3 ODST is an expansion thats why it still had halo 3 in the title. and you are entitled to your own oppinion about halo reach'es sales. but 7-9 million is low.  halo reach is on pase to pass halo 3's numbers in america and only a little behind what MW2 got. here im talking about preorders

at 12 weeks left to go mw2(360 version) had 430k

at 15 weeks left to go halo reach has 300k. it got about 30k preorders this week. over the next 3 weeks if it averges 40k preorders then it should be at 420k with 12 weeks left. i think it will average a bit higher.

so first week sales worldwide should come in no lower then 4.5 million copies. even with bad legs it should pass 9m copies
