I am pretty sure everyone is happy with well made games regardless of the platform. I think that thus far every console has had great games come out this year and I think even better ones are on the way.

I bought NMH2, TvC, MegaMan 10 (Wiiware) and MH3 so far this year. I'm going to get SMG2 on Wednesday. I'm also thinking of buying Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. That's the spirit!

I think, regardless the console, that is a good thing that everybody is getting quality titles, no matter their tastes.
That's a good thing for the gaming industry!

Above all, I am happy Wii is getting quality rpg games for a change.

 

Persona 4, Eternal Sonata, Valkyria Chronicles and a few more should have been seriously considered to be on Wii too. Hopefully Wii will get its share with Tales of Graces, The Last Story, Xenoblade and a new Fire Emblem.

The Final Fantasy games for the console where far from what we expected. Gladly we have had some nice RPG games and just now, Wii's Demon's Souls as I understand it: Monster Hunter Tri.

I'm very happy indeed.

It's all down to the success of the Wii taking the entire industry by surprise. When both the Wii and the PS3 were announced everyone in the industry (including my good self!) expected the Wii to emulate the sales of the Gamecube and the PS3 to emulate the success of the PS2. This is the reason for the dodgy ports games that came out for the Wii at the beginning, everyone thought that despite the Wii flying off shelves during its first year that it was just a fad. It was only after Wiis continued to fly off shelves after Christmas 2007 that publishers started to take the Wii more seriously in 2008. That's why we started to see better quality titles released during 2009 and this year.

And now that a third party has finally released a AAA quality Wii exclusive and, more importantly, given Monster Hunter Tri a AAA quality marketing campaign other third parties I'm sure have learnt a valuable lesson I think.

I both happy and sad.

Happy due to a lot more games for me to choose from.

Sad due to me having so many other important things in life to buy!

On topic, the Wii in 2010 so far has topped the PS3 and 360 for me when it comes to the number of game I want. Back in 2009 I only got one Wii game, New Super Mario Bros. Wii. =P However in 2010 I can name at least 7 games that I want. So yeah the Wii has made me very happy this year.
