Zelda already is easy. The bosses have died in 3 hits every time since OoT. It was much more challenging in LTTP.

Nintendo takes care of it's classic franchises, so I'm not concerned. They won't throw the baby out with the bath water.

This isn't true in any sense.

Well, yes, it's true that LttP was harder, but that's because it's easier to make a hard boss in a 2D space with the current limitations of 3D Zelda.

Still. Almost no 3D bosses actually die in three hits regardless of the weapon you use, and there were several Link to the Past bosses who would if you hit them with the highest upgrade your sword could have at the time (every stage of Trinnexx in particular comes to mind). You can argue that the same is true for OoT bosses with jump slashes from the Biggoron Sword, but if we're going that far then LttP and OoT are just equivalent.



Easier to play stands for more intuitive....



On a totally off topic tangent that doesn't at all relate to the discussion over whether his comments refer to accessibility of gameplay or difficulty of levels...

Remember running around the Water temple for an hour angrily shouting "WHERE THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO GO!!!?"
Those were the days...

If your game is difficult due to lack of usability, you're doing something very wrong. Unless we're talking about hardcore simulators and such.
