Woe guys.

I havent said Alan Wake is the best. According to DF Alan Wake has the best lighting, Effects and Attention to Detail this gen. They said that. With 30 percent more already available, it will be interesting to see where they go.

I said up there with those games. Not beating them. Man guys.

Now I'm being stupid for posting after my previous post, but I don't see anywhere that DF have said that. They said the attention to detail in the engine was second to none, but that's the only thing I can find that has any semblance to what you said.

welcome back to reality !

Damn pirates getting the game way before release. Takes the edge out of a day 1 purchase.

Maybe I'll just mod my Xbox too.

Huh? Digital Foundry doesn't use piracy if that's what you think. They either use review copies or buy the games when they release if they can't get review copies.

lol not them. Read a couple of posts above mine.

Thanks for the link OP

Oh, that guy! Now I get it

I think that KZ2 still is best looking game out there. Closet thing to CGI, im the only one thinking that way?

@MikeB U2 took two years because the had laid the ground work with U1.
A better comparison for development time would have been GT5 not a sequel.

You are as good as spin as Selnor but without the personality.

No it's still Crysis.

I'm tired of saying this all the time, but there's a lot of things that KZ2 does better than Crysis...

So, 540p and screen tear to oblivion? At least the games does a good job with shadows and atmosphere, and what a fine job that is.

Honestly, I expected more. If the game does not release for PC I'll have to play it on an X360, and I hoped it to live by the highest standards (on par with Gears 2 at least which clearly isn't).

@ Selnor

Considering 360 fans took aim at PS3 development times, it is ironic Uncharted 2 took only 2 years to complete and Alan Wake took 5 years. In addition to everything stated above Uncharted 2 also includes far more varierty in its graphics and includes awesome online gameplay as well (which is of course free on the PS3, thus worth mentioning).

It's fine to give props to U2's visual awards at the British award show but leave certain things like this out unless you're interested in a history lesson.

what history lesson? ND made 2 games in the timespan it took Remedy to make 1 game.
