Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox 360 Exclusive: Call of Duty: The War Collection

I already have all three so there's no need for me to get this collection :(.

#1 Only exclusive because CoD2 isn't on PS3
#2 No one plays those games anymore? And if you want them, you can find them in the bargain bin.

CoD2: http://product.half.ebay.com/Call-of-Duty-2-Xbox-360-2005_W0QQtgZinfoQQprZ46926605
CoD3: http://product.half.ebay.com/Call-of-Duty-3-Xbox-360-2006_W0QQprZ53551021QQtgZinfo
CoD:W@W: http://product.half.ebay.com/Call-of-Duty-World-at-War-Xbox-360-2008_W0QQtgZinfoQQprZ64161067

Who in their right mind would spend $60 on this collection when they can get all 3 for a whopping....$23.50?

1. Obviously...

2. The series has become tremendous over the last few years. Most of the new and younger fans probably didn't play the older games.

I agree the price seems a little high. But it only comes out to $20 a piece and a lot people don't like buying used games. They'll probably sell this bundle for years as well.

They are milking the franchise a little too much :S and the bundle is over priced you can buy each of them separately for way way less online, and most bundles don't cost that much new as well

I'm not seeing how this is so "awful"

  2. Crysis: Warhead

*facepalm*

I don't care how much those cost...

Let's do some math.

$59.97

$51.94

$28.99

=$140.90

Now tell me how buying all three of them for $60 is an awful deal

Dude the facepalm is on you my friend. Why the hell would you add them all together? He very clearly meant  (by showing individual prices) that any one of those is a far greater value. Indeed any one of those packs is a hell of a lot better deal than the pack Activison is trying to peddle you. I mean seriously did you just choose to ignore the very clear intention of his post?I realize Shio is easy to rip on, but It seems to me that you can't be possibly that confused about what he meant. And what can't be excused with ignorance, must be prescribed to malice.

Adding them was indeed an ignorant thing to do. But here is a valid response, none of those bundles include Call of Duty. So those values aren't worth much if you don't care about the games mentioned. And clearly the masses care more about CoD than those games.

Why the hell are you using amazon prices? They're ridicolously expensive. I could walk down to my nearest gameshop and get them all for about £25.

He was here to troll... he came into a thread about a 360 game and threw around a bunch of prices for PC bundles. No one here cares about them. I added the prices together to show how much of a good deal it is. It would cost $140 to buy them all individually. How isn't it a good deal at $60?

None of them are availabe on the 360... So those values aren't worth anything...

Because I wanted new prices and couldn't find them on Gamestop.com

Hmm I think this is overpriced for my taste. Given it almost cost as much as World At War in stores.

Hopefully this means World at War prices go down dramatically, so I can pick that up.

This bundle is just dumb because the main selling point of CoD games is the online multiplayer, and if no one is online with these games anymore.....

well activison did say when they annouced it on kotaku that it is a 360 exclusive bundle and activison said complete games so im guessing each one has full dlc in each one
