Flatout 2 was really good. Just like Ultimate Carnage

EDIT: Just saw it's a different developer this time around. Don't get your hopes too high.

Never played any of their games, but it looks like a shovelware studio: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team6_Game_Studios

Fallout for Wii -> Bethesda's big Wii game >_>

Close. Bethesda's big Wii game was a low-end racing game.

Negative.  That was a title they published, not developed.  Their big Wii game is one they develop.

Flatout for Wii should be a lot of fun.  Might be the closest thing to Burnout we get.

I'm aware of the difference, but i still thought that was the case, since no Bethesda developed game ever materialized.

A lot of people have unfortunately come to that conclusion or have read such simply because fans on the other side did all they could to rub it in our faces.  But that racing title wasn't the only game they've published on Wii so it wouldn't make any sense to single it out over the others especially given the statements from Sean Brennan that the title would have a sizable budget and not follow the shovelware bandwagon so many other publishers/developers have done.

Why it's not been announced yet (or admittedly canceled even) is unknown though I'm guessing that ZeniMax nixxed the project to have Bethesda focus on Brink and the Fallout franchise.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

So the Wii version comes with cars?

Uhhh it sounds like destruction derby from N64... it was such a great game. If this comes close to that, then it will be a must-buy for me xD.

Going to SUCK. I'm sure the original games were great, but experience has tought that Wii varients of good games are slapped together. Not all there are enough exceptions, but the majority tend to just be in it for the quick buck.

Edit PS:

Bad me, without even reading the entire thread I posted the above comments. Only to find that others have already found that the game is being put to the afore assumed development team of shovelware. I don't believe that studios by default only produce shovel ware. I do however believe that studios are often contracted for shovel ware. This is a shovelware game because it's done by a different that original team.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Played Flatout on PS2 fun game, especially the stuntman mode but it was never good enough for a purchase (Burnout got those dollars). Still, if it's good, I'll definitely consider buying this. Been waiting years for a good smash-up racer on Wii.

FALLOUT COMING TO THE W...wait...shoot, good news i guess. They probably saw Sonic's kart sales for wii and thought it was a great idea. More quality games for the wii is certainly a good thing. Anything to light a fire underneath casualized mario kart the better(kart racer and arcade racer alike).

I for one loved flatout on my ps2!

I heard about this but was wondering what FlatOut was. Thanks for the video and description.
