I am a Nintendo fan so I don't buy games on Sony consoles or handhelds obviously but my little brother loves Metal Gear Solid and God Of War! So does anybody know when Metal Grar Solid Peace Walker comes out in the U.S.A or even better Metal Gear Solid Rising?

All Metal Gear Solid games come over to the States. In fact they are known for doing the best in NA. The fact that Peace Walker has an english demo out and Rising was announced at a Microsoft E3 conference should let you know it's coming over.

MGS4 sales top 4.75 million, Konami sales rise 4.2%

So In a whole year I think we can anticipate at least 250k sales. Which is like 5k a week.

I wonder if Konami is going to can Rising on the consoles and move it to PSP after these sales.

Rising will likely do around half of what MGS4 has done, or a bit more than half. I doubt they are going to put it on psp.. might as well put it on wii and ps2 as well

Probably because no one thought about it logically. I never really gave it any thought prior to now so I had no specific expectations. But if you applied some rationality to it you probably would expect Peace Walker to do as well or better on day 1 than MGS4. It's an iconic franchise associated with the Playstation brand and it's the first MGS entry on PSP. There's gotta be plenty of cross ownership between PS2 MGS fans and PSP and PS3 MGS4 owners. etc etc.

It's not easy to sell games on PSP, I hope Sony bundle this with ever PSP2 out there. Might push some out of the door.
