Bungie: We definitely won't make another Halo game

Will support Halo: Reach and its community.

Speaking to VG247 following the news that Bungie has signed a 10-year publishing deal with Activision, Bungie's Brian Jarrard has confirmed that Halo: Reach will be the studio's final Halo game.

"We'll still have an attachment to Halo through Reach, but we definitely won't be producing any new Halo projects beyond Reach," said Jarrard.

Halo: Reach is scheduled for release this atumn only on Xbox 360.

so it looks like the new microsoft studio will take over halo making games.

We knew this already. Right? That MS is recruiting to that 343 studio or whatever to make Halo games.

But for some awkward reason many Xbox fans have went in damage control mode today and are saying that Bungie will still make Halo games.

Yeah we did know a long time ago, I think Skee even commented in one of the threads confirming it. But he's only posting this as flamebait (just look at his avatar)

I don't think Bungie will be making any more Halo games, I understand why they're probably sick of the genre and want to try something new!
