More like the SNP in terms of libertarianism, but still more right than the SNP for economic reasons.

I wish the website would update their ratings more frequently. Having that type of test on Facebook, which would index and display your friends, would be awesome.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I watched it...

Clegg won.

Cameron a close second.

Brown... Was nothing like the leader we need right now.

Clegg won that. Cameron second.
Can anyone tell me why Brown interrupted Cameron mid sentence on a number of occasions???

Ok I just saw that Cameron won according to a different poll. Strange, seems as though there are contrasting results in different polls.

Yup, that's how I felt.  With both Brown and Cameron (to a lesser extent) saying 'I agree with Nick' it gave Clegg the edge in the end although Cameron wasn't far behind.

Brown struggled under the burden of having to explain current situation which given he and his party have been in power for yonks he can hardly duck easily, while the others had the advantage of simply sounding sensible with regard to their policies with the odd poke at the current goverment.

Still, even allowing for that he just didn't seem to convey himself well in this kind of debate.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Clegg mopped the floor with the other two. His policies suck, but he's a fantastic speaker.

Cameron was pathetic. He said he would throw money at everything, without cutting spending ANYWHERE, he kept lying about his policies to avoid Brown's attacks...Jesus, Cameron, your party is comfortably in the lead, STOP PRETENDING TO BE LABOUR. Only a couple of issues kept it from being a disaster.

Brown...whatever. Nobody expected him to be any good. He kept attacking Cameron, Cameron kept evading.

1) Clegg
*large gap*
2) Cameron
3) Brown

This should (unfortunately) help the Lib Dems a fair bit, but not enough to bring them close to victory. Nuclear disarmament? REALLY?

On refelction:

Clegg and Cameron did ok.

Brown didnt.... pretty poor.

But then to be fair to Brown, he has the most to lose from this kind of debate and he lived up to that.

Nobody stood out really though between Cameron and Clegg.

Clegg was better in my opinion. Anyway, Brown went in the underdog pretty much because he is prime minister. It is easy for Clegg and Cameron to say to Brown "Then why haven't you done it? You have the power", and they invoked this several times to get ahead in the debate. Brown couldn't use this argument, immediate disadvantage.

Clegg was using it much more than Cameron. Pretty much his entire argument was "We've never been in government, so we've never messed anything up like the others."

But it worked.

The reason Brown was attacked so much is because Labour's made a complete mess of the country.

I'm actually embarrassed he is our leader.

I'm not embarrassed. He hasn't been the best, I think anyone would admit that. But he did inherit a country on the brink of a major recession (ok, partially his fault), two wars that were un-winnable yet at the same time you can't pull out of all too easily, and an incredibly bloated public service sector, as well as several other extremely negative factors.

Given the state our country was left in when Blair left, I have to admit he has done much better than I expected. I remember when Brown came in thinking that the country would be lucky to make it out half as well as it has done so far. He has performed above my expectations, although I think you can tell that my expectations were low anyway lol.

WHIP BBC 1 on people. Question time reviewing with major politicians.

Yeah, Clegg easily won, and this is coming from a loyal Conservative. Not that it matters, his party can't win.

Worryingly, Cameron's answer to everything seems to be 'spend, spend, spend', when we need the exact opposite. He's absolutely petrified of the legacy of Thatcherism, when that's exactly what we need right now. Grow a pair, Cameron, we need another Thatcher not a Ted Heath.

He is a Thatcherite. He just refuses to admit it.
