Could it actually be talking about the money earned/cost? I haven't looked at the whole thing, just at what was on the Op and Barozi's post.

Well I thought there was some Japanese word that means 10,000 that often gets mistranslated as a million, and it doesn't really make too much sense to me for them to be talking about revenue in dollars.

For those interested - chinese numerals - it's incredibly annoying to speak with chinese people on business matter when big numbers involved, pretty sure the same story with japanese and korean people. They have specific names for first four and every forth further orders of magnitude, instead of three and every third like rest of the world.

always knew demon's souls was overtracked. also valkyria chronicles must be. niche titles just don't sell that much.

Yea, 万 is "man", their word for 10,000. and 本 can be used as unit(s).

Demon's Souls sales were too good to be true... Valkyria Chronicles must be also overtracked.
