Forums - Gaming Discussion - Wii OR HD CONSOLES : which do you find better games on?

Wii by far. Nintendo is on fire with its games.
Most of their games are great this gen. i mean, 3 Marios, 2 Zeldas, 2 (or maybe 4) Metroids... just the good stuff!

Plus some innovative ways to play!
Best nintendo gen, by far. Passed the legendary super nes gen.

HD all the way

PC ins't an option? I refuse to vote.

Why is it HD versus Wii? Shouldn't it be PS3 vs. Xbox 360 vs. Wii? Why is it that the Wii always gets compared with two seperate consoles? It's always "Wii vs. HD sales" or "Wii vs. HD games." I don't remember last generation anyone ever saying "Gamecube vs. not Nintendo-made consoles." The consoles are made by different companies, have different games (albeit not a ton), different online setups, different controllers...etc. Stop assuming that the Wii library can be comparable to two different consoles combined.

Having said that, Wii offers the best games for me. The only games on the other two consoles I might buy are Bioshock, Uncharted series and Tales of Vesperia.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Because the Wii is just that much better. The only way 360 and PS3 stand a chance is teaming up.

Wii.I love Super Mario Galaxy and Smash they are great games.

HD consoles

Zelda.

All other arguments on why HD consoles are better than Wii are invalid since Wii has Zelda.

That's not really fair. I think both PS3 and 360 have better games by themselves than the Wii anyway.

Nintendo not have the best games this Generation is really showing how third party have ignored the fastest selling console ever.
