i think it has a shot, i hope it does. because to me it seems like a good game and i like remedy's games  they have done so far.

i also want both games to break 2 million in sales, so we can get sequels down the road.

Alan Wake may sell just the same as Heavy Rain, probably a bit better though.

I think Alan Wake is going to have long legs. It may not sell the most right out of the bag, but word of mouth and (hopefully) high scores will keep it selling at a steady pace.

I don't know if I see it selling more the first week, but I think it could eventually out sell it if marketed correctly.

i dont see that happening. Unless some random advertising comes, i just dont see it happening. Its too bad too.

@kowenicki, could be. but i see a decent amount of adds for alan wake already here in the states in magazines. i imagine m$ will put a good effort into its marketing because they want another potential franchise to compete against sony with i think.

No idea, looking forward to playing it though!!

i dont know i mean it would need to be advertised more and have something that can grab people ( you know mass effect had the dlc, crack down had the beta, that kind of thing).

@cgi-quality, i hope so. heavy rain not a chance for a sequel really? havent started it yet, was hoping because it seems like a very intersting game.
