It never will

If the PS3 maintains to outsell the 360 by an average of 60k in weekly sales from now on it will take it about 90 weeks to pass for p2.
So we have to wait till holidays '11...

2010 is highly unlikely. 2011 is a better possibility but there are a lot of ifs between now and then...like who is getting a price cut this year, how successful with move/natal/3D be, on what software is coming out.

2010 and 2011 are both out imo. If it happens at all (which is very much in question) it'll be 2012 or later.

However there is almost no way that PS3 could outsell 360 in 2010, and I think Halo will pull it a little to 360... Then again 2011 it is quite likely to happen... if not then 2012 al latest but that is the worlds end so what do I care then... :D :D :D

people forget that the ps3 was released one year after the 360. the 360's lead was like 7 million hen the ps3 released right? Anyways imo opinion the ps3 already passed the 360 if you take off that 1 year boost the 360 had

It was closer to 5m iirc.  The gap now is basically back to where it was at launch.

a 360 slim and a price cut this year would probably make the gap bigger by the end of the year. gamewise for the rest of the year 360 has splinter cell conviction, allen wake, crackdown 2,halo reach,fable 3, and lost planet 2 will fare better on 360. ps3 has modnation racers,GT5, and maybe the last guardian(dought it). so for the rest of the year 360 will have much better games,probably a price cut, and maybe a slimmer console.
i dont know how anyone could think ps3 could overtake the 360 this year. what is the gap now. like 5.4 million i think. id say it will increase atleast a million by the end of the year. the ps3 could overtake the 360 in 2011 but in dont see that happening. id say it will happer in 2012,2013 or never.
