Well...they should.

I'm not saying it's bad...but it looks like a Gamecube game. I mean...something close to Galaxy's graphics, with a lot more going on in the backgrounds would be nice...and I'd expect it...

I'm sure it'll end up fine...so I don't really care.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

The polygon count is higher. The smoother edges on the models make that clear. And the colors are more crisp.

Plus you can't judge the backgrounds this way. Not only is the game not finished, we don't know how big the tracks will be.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

im really hoping there is some shortcuts like there was in mk64. not those crappy save-4-seconds-if-you-have-as-mushroom shortcuts but some that are very hard to execute. i spose it will end up like dd but i can always hope.

Check out my pyro tf2 vid :)

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

The tracks had better be longer than DD and DS.

and Wario Stadium from 64 had better return!

is it just me or is their anyone else who would love to play the original mario kart(maybe spruce graphics up a bit) over the net against others. the original is imo the best, had the best courses and it was simple fun. no other game has consumed so much of my time. ever.

battle mode would be a killer

I want wii fit and I want it now

To be honest I don't think it looks brilliant graphically doesn't have the same feeling in the graphics that SMG has.

Will probably be awesome fun though, will the drift boost be caused by waggle?

I second that. The art direction is quite conservative.

Hardcore gaming is a bubble economy blown up by Microsoft's $7 $6 billion losses.

I do think the graphics are kinda subpar. Come on, if the Wii can handle Galaxy easily, I think it could handle Kart with an upgrade in graphics at least "very well".

At least add some effects if they don't want to increase polygon count.

graphics don't matter

Some of those screen shots are pretty damn gorgeous, like the one Montana posted, but the quality is pretty uneven due to coming from magazine scans.

I've never really played Mario Kart more than a few times at random parties. Maybe I'll actually get into this, although it doesn't look to likely with Brawl arriving at roughly the same time.
