In my experience, S-video for SNES and N64 sucks. I use RGB cables and the colors are super sharp.

I haven't had any issues with SNES and S-video. Never tried RGB for N64.



Been updated with info on hooking up your Atari.



Huh! I don't know why, but I had assumed that Wind Waker ran in 16x9.

Unfortunately no. There wasn't a single Nintendo developed game that ran in widescreen.

The best experience I ever had for retrogaming was using the nice filtering settings in Zsnes. Then you can play Super Mario Bros in 1920*1080 on your Plasma Screen with the original graphics. That was nice.
