I believe MGS4 is a great title ( As in total package of entertainment with a $60 price tagg). Is it a great game?....Thats up in the air. The fight mechanics were broken, the game more linear than ever and the actual game elements were brief at best before movies stole the show. There were times in the movies I got seriously pissed off watching Raiden have all the fun and I couldn't play as him at least once. It makes me think the more powerful a system gets, the less gaming we have to do.

I totally disagree
MGS4 had the BEST GAMePlay in the whole series imo.
The controls were streamlined and the game was a charm to play & it was very fun.
One of the reasons why MGS4 tops other MGS's for me IS the gameplay which they improved.....it came as a surprise to me. (Thank you Ryan Payton)
And linearity...puh lease I'm gonna shoot something if I hear the word linearity again, I've had quite enough of that word now....anyway MGS4 isn't more linear than other MGS's.....I don't know what makes you think that.

I think we could make a deal on that if Nintendo people never speak of Malstrom again. I'd take that deal in a heart beat.
