If you can't say yes to the following then you might be considered a noob!

do you have at least 300+ pokemon?

Do you have at least 15 level 100s?

Do you know what EV training is?

Have you beaten the pokemon league at least 50 times?

Do you own all the games? (Main series)

If you said yes to all of those then your probably not a noob

No I'm pretty sure if you have done all of that you can consider yourself a pro, but just because you haven't, that doesn't mean you're a noob.
If you haven't beaten a Pokemon game, then you are a noob.

Wait, what? I'll be lucky if my final Pokedex count is over 40, even by the time i get to Red (current count is 14 owned, and 5 of those are forms i evolved up from, and one of them is event Jirachi)

Some people play the game differently, but that doesn't diminish their mastery of it. I very much know how to get what i want out of the games, and that's whats important.

lol i have heart gold and have 40 pokemon so far, 3 gym bages, and 20 hours on my game. people sure do play differently :p (2 of those hours i was trying to breed a scyther with a certain nature though)

I'm a noob, I don't even have 100 pokemons and I don't even have 1 level 100, without counting those in red and blue of course. Seriously though, I've beaten Red in Soul Silver and my pokedex count is only 33 and I don't even have a single level 90, people who have at least 15 level 100s are people who have too much time.
