you guys told me to go get the Wii because Wii HD is a myth and wait for Slim 360.

also i didn't get Resort because i want to try the motions without it (Plus) first.

You're in for some good times :) May I recommend Super Mario Galaxy to go along with New Super Mario Bros Wii.

i was going to get Mario Galaxy but thought since i already played it a lot, i got NSMB , i'll get that later =]

I've been waiting for a Metroid game like other M for so long myself :) Also I'd say you made an excellent choice by picking up Metroid trilogy isn't that hard to find nowadays?

Rune Factory Frontier is my favourite on the system. You may have a very hard time finding it though. The Wii, I find, generally benefits the non-violent games more than the violent ones; WarioWare is a great party game, especially at 6 players.

For violent games, RE4 and Scarface really benefit a lot from the Wii Remote. I haven't found many others I like, Metroid Other M looks VERY cool though.
