Khan and blunty we should do lagi runs sometime. I could use a lagi set. Also I need to agnk runs as well since I would like to get his armor. Angk armor seems to have the best skill set for lancers.

I'm certain down with that. I don't really have specific days that i play to say...just whenever really...like now perhaps.

I do need some of his parts, but primarily i'm stuck with his capture quest offline, since it's bottlenecking any forward progress on my part.

I guess its the closer confines of Flooded Forest that make it harder. Less room to maneuver means less room to run, and he has a faster turnaround.

I personally favor the Barioth set, but Angnaktor is a damned fine set for lancers.  It's relatively easy to get, too!

Anyone need to find a good weapon and armor set to suit their needs, or just feel like playing around with new stuff?  Here's a good place to start!

Has anybody figured out how to beat that Jhen Moran thing? Festival of pain I think it's called. Every time I've tried (with different people each time) either some guy dies 3 times or we run out of time. What the hell are you mean to do? Nothing seems to work.

blunty, Khan I am on tonight if you guys would like to join.

He's got a ton of health, so stick to it.

Here's the best strategy:  make sure everyone has their highest defense equipment on, and bring their strongest dragon or ice weapons.  If you can hop on his back, do so, and attack the two blue-ish spots on his back until both break, then hop off.  You may also want to leave your anti-dragon bombs in the holes.

If you can't hop on his back, three people should spam cannonballs, and use the gong when he's about to ram the ship.  If you use the gong when he's charging the ship head on, you'll get more free attacks.

The fourth person should take the ballista binder from the supply chest, and focus on shooting his legs.  When Jhen's about to charge, use the ballista binder to stop him.

When he attacks the front of the ship, use the dragonator (activate it right after he starts his second leap from the sand).

On the final phase, two people with the strongest weapons go out and attack his legs.  The remaining two attack first with ballista rounds, then with cannonballs.  They should use the dragonator when he's close, and they should also use the ballista binder/gong to prevent him from pancacking the ship.  If the two guys who charged managed to break both legs, have them hoof it pack to the ship and join with the cannonballing.

That's it.  Even with four people, it'll probably still take nearly 30 minutes to kill him, so don't get discouraged, keep your health up, and have fun!
