PS3 did about 45k in Japan this week. It would have only needed about 145k in Americas, although even without supply issues that would be quite optimistic. I thought 300k was a possibility as well, I just expected slightly larger numbers in Japan and Others (50k+ and 115k-120k) and Sony to at least try to rectify the supply issues in America this week.

Nice sales for PS3 and bit bad sales for 360 in my opinion.

Once again though it is this "other" section that is making the gap look big, almost 20k gap there again this week from 360 and PS3. Which makes up for nearly 50% of the total gap.
I for one am becoming very suspicious of those numbers, i would love to know how VGC tracks those countries which must be places like arabia etc.. or is it a simple case of lets take a guess?

Wow, that's pretty impressive for PS3 in Others. I was not expecting a surge in sales like that.

Now if Sony would sort out the serious stock issues in America and to a smaller extent the UK...

But especially the US. First the 120GB stocks began to run low, but now it seems even the 250GB are drying up.
