If you plan on evolving into Arcanine, stick with Flare Blitz. Arcanine has more Attack than Sp. Attack, while Growlithe has the same. Also, Flare Blitz has 20 points more power and 100% accuracy.

33% recoil and the lack of burn sucks though.

With STAB and 180 damage, I don't really care about burn; And Arcanine has much HP to handle the recoil.

no biggie. I want one anyways. I checked the odds and found that the odds are like 25% or less, so I know my chances are low.

you know you could always just breed your males with a ditto and hope for a female
