My awesome team:

Nidorino
Togetic
Ampharos
Slowpoke
Typhlosion
Lugia

I might switch one out now that I caught a Dratini.

Growlithe Pidgeotto Poliwhirl Flaaffy Machoke Togetic

7 badges.

So far Togetic is the standout on my team. Extrasensory has been extremely powerful.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

What's the best way to train before going into Mt. Silver? I'd rather not go into there with mid 50's level Pokemon.

I always used to go through the  Pokemon league over and over agian. I beat it over 200 times on my original Silver version. lol

That's true, but I think that with HeartGold/SoulSilver... after you beat them they get a lot better (according to Bulbapedia they now have six pokemon starting in their 60's. And that's just Will. )

I think I can challenge the Gym leaders again though (they get better too, but not by much... well, except for Gary). It's just pretty tedious to do...

^^I thought they only get stronger after you beat Red though, not before. Or can you not fight them again until you beat Red?

I failed to beat Red the first time. I did not reset either, and the E4 grew in levels, with newer stronger teams. Either it's when you get the Nation Dex, when you face Red, or somewhere in between.
