Okay, I'm about 3-4 hours in and the game is amazing. Everything but the swordplay ranges from mediocre to good, but the swordplay is absolutely amazing, and all the flaws you see in the game can't stay in your head for long, because your mind has already been blown!

I'm just at the part in the game where you really start hanging on to all the things you can do, you start blocking more actively and everything just comes together. It is incredibly awesome when it gets going!

The only downside is that my right arm is very tired now

EDIT: And one of the first things I did when I started playing was to change to my jogging suit and bare feet so I could move around properly
