See you don't know that. Not turning it on definitely doesn't fix the problem, but it could prevent data corruption caused by the bug.

Think of it as a chain of problems... by turning the PS3 on, you could be allowing the problem to become bigger.

Actually, I take my statement back for those people who were lucky enough to hear about this problem before turning on their PS3, because Sony agrees with you...

I was really talking to the people who have already turned it on and messed around with it before hearing that it was a larger problem...

Because some people have a theory that the internal clock is working well enough to pass from "29th Feb 2010" to "1st March 2010", which may fix the issue...

that article includes false information it says that lots of new slims are waiting to be turned on, only for this to happen, it does not affect sllims
