What's also interesting is that out of the games that are on there, only 8 ps3 ones belong to the same franchise compared to 10. Granted, 2 of them are GOTY editions, but those include DLC, so they aren't the same game. Much like GTA4 and Liberty City Stories for 360.

That means ps3 also has more AAA original IPs.

Is there a reason why you've left loads of them out?
Just looking at the lists on Gamerankings, you've omitted Uncharted 2, Halo 3, Oblivion, to name but a few. I am a little confused...

Your list isn't showing all the results. Follow the links to see everything. I would omit the two GOTY games, as they're listed twice, even if they do come with extra DLC.

So two less, with a year less on the market. Not bad at all for the PS3. That GTA content will also be multiplatform soon.

You've got LBP double counted and you've got Fallout 3 counted only for the PS3 when the Xbox 360 is the better version of the two.

According to Metacritic for comparison there are 27 games which are given 90+ scores and 19 for the PS3. Its a stupid and arbitrary line but it does favour the PS3. If it were 89+ then the ratio would be 41:25 or 88+ it would be 51:34

Fallout 3 GOTY is not on the 360 list because it has only 2 reviews.
Aside from that you shouldn't count GOTY editions lol.
Then there are quite a few games with too few reviews that can change everything:

Demon's Souls when (if...) it arrives in Europe (same for God of War Collection), Heavy Rain as a newcomer has not enough reviews and Wipeout HD Fury only has 10 reviews.
