Yeah, I don't understand the unskippable parts. You're forced to go though all that junk each and every time you want to watch your purchased movie.

Ubisoft has started doing damage control! You know something sucks the big one when the company behind it starts doing major damage control before its official release.

If they see piracy as being that much of a problem and it helps them combat it and in turn achieve higher revenues then I cannot see it as being anything but an overall positive thing for PC gamers that actually pay for the content.

There is no progress made here. This topic has already been beaten to a bush. Bad idea=bad sales.I just feel sorry for the ppl who purchase this title without prior knowledge about this draconian DRM. Good luck to them.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

What I thought was really bad is that I bought Bioshock 2 off of steam, running the game legitimately through steam, and I also have to go through Windows Live DRM to save. I lost an hour of progress because I discovered I couldn't save until it was too late.

I don't blame the publishers, I blame the pirate. Pirates managed to steal steam games, so publishers add another layer of protection to their games.

another problem with this scheme is the fact every time the games saves the game will create a save file encrypt it and then upload it over your slow Internet connection, then when you want to load the game you have to wait for the save to be downloaded from ubisoft's servers. this means that the game will take longer to save and load the game especially for people that happen to not live somewhere where there is cheap high-speed Internet and forget downloading your next game on steam well you play your OFF-LINE game.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Say goodbye to playing games on a plane, at your vacation house where you don't have Internet, on the train (unless you have a mobile data plan).

All of this not because of some technical reason, just because idiotic managers at Ubisoft decided to impose an artificial restriction.

I was studying abroad this summer, horrible firewall at the residence. When the net did show up it was quite slow either. It's just bad news for anyone who travel around. I know I didn't have internet when I moved for 2 months, used the one on campus. So yeah, if I have to get any ubisoft game, I will probably crack it to suit my needs.

LOL So true.

Though no DRM will be good for me past the usual CDKey thing.
