I face palmed a million times reading through that..both types of fanboys were wreaking havoc there...my favourite post out of all that is

Yeah, anywhere you go on the internet there's always somewhere worse. Amazon and IMDB in particular tend to be some of the worst places for discussion. Barring 4chan, of course.

But VGC is like that. You seen the "OMG This game is better than THAT game because XXX"

Vgchartz isnt that bad...

Its probably worse. 

Oh we have smart trolls. Who know everything about everything and are never wrong.

VGchartz has a mature community with sometimes randomly having some people joining like

PS3fanboy360sucks, WiiOWNu and Makingmusic (jk :P) but basically those last for about a week and get banned as soon as they cross the line..

VGChartz is the most mature community I have ever met, the only thing it still can't seem to let go is sales don't equal quality..

Well from my experiences, it's never really the long time or veteran gamers that are the worst when it comes to this silliness, but usually either the "newer hardcore" as some call it or just the mainstream gamers themselves that provide more of that silliness. You'll get that a lot on sites they are going to visit or the retail shops because they aren't specialty sites for the thing such as this one.

Cvg is bad for fanboys on both sides,
