Well from my experiences, it's never really the long time or veteran gamers that are the worst when it comes to this silliness, but usually either the "newer hardcore" as some call it or just the mainstream gamers themselves that provide more of that silliness. You'll get that a lot on sites they are going to visit or the retail shops because they aren't specialty sites for the thing such as this one.
