I can say all of the above..minus the brand loyalty. Ive owned almost all Ninty products except the Game Cube. Motion control along with Smash Bros were the main reasons...much like i bought a 360 for halo. However Ive owned more games and played more on the wii then the 360.

Again I know I want more, but to many to keep track of. Now a D.S. list like this would take forever. If i had every Game I wanted for Wii and for D.S. I would have no room left in my house to move.

For the huge 3rd pary quality support... just kidding.

well because of the Nintendo games and the innovation they bring to gaming.

Other, it was fresh and actually reasonably priced. Plus I already had a DS, it seemed the logical choice as the successor for the current generation.
