Not when it sucks. Standard hardly means good, or most effective.
The fact the cell can be used as a CPU and help out the GPU is amazing. Rendering with a quadcore, I know there is no way in hell any PC CPU could be used effectively for graphics in gaming.

@ Mazty and jarrod
lets not derail this thread please

Unlike the Bioshock 2 comparison, there's actually a difference but PS3 version doesn't have to do that disc 3-4 swapping to go back to certain levels so..........tie?

Sadly, we're talking about SO4 though... no matter who has the better version, we all lose. :(

LMAO

Thats funny because its true!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

360 far better

PS3 version looks very blurry.

360 wins this one, despite being out a year earlier.

Why does it show the Anime portrait in the 360 one, if it only had the pre rendered face sets? Isn't tha a feature of the PS3 version, to be able to use the anime styled ones? o.O

The Japanese 360 original also had the the anime portraits.  It was changed to ugly CG for the west.

Lol I'm quite a fan of that "ugly CG", lol, since I'm not a big fan of the anime art style, although I'll play games that use the style, since otherwise I could be missing out on some good games, but given the chance, I'd not use it, lol.

To be honest, instead of using this as a guide, I'll wait for other websites to do comparisons (... If I buy it), I mean, one of the pictures for the PS3 (On the cliff), either the cliff has a multicoloured surface, or it's done with a digital camera of some sort, or it's a bad attempt of using colour burn/dodge and trying to make it look worse o.O

i will still buy it because i like jp audio and i don 't think it will kill it but it won 't look that good as i wanted to
