Changes are always be good for making any products more attractive and interesting. I think in this image Mario seems more powerful and impressive.

I know soul calibur legends, castlevania judgement, star fox adventures, shining force exa, halo wars, new coke, bomberman act zero, shadow the hedgehog, were all mega-fad super hit titles that really brought the franchises to the next level

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread needs to be locked. More people know the name of mario, than anybody else in the world. Mario is the reason alot of people got into gaming back in the day. What other gaming character has lasted for a good 25+ yrs. They don't need to do change mario in any way. That would be like changeing the formula for coke, all over again. This is nothing but a troll thread.

Great read. Made me lulz.

Also, if this were to ever happen: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Ironically, if you follow Game|Life on Wired -- Gus Mastrapa recently complained about how he and his friends (mid-30s) are getting tired of being schooled by teenagers in open FPS matches.

In other words, this is satire because Mario appeals much more to older (and younger) gamers than it does adolescents.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

that's not true at all. Mario appeals to a wide range of people. Mario is what brought videogames back to the mainstream, back in the day. You can make fun all you want, but if it wasn't for mario, gameing wouldn't be where it is today.

Seriously Nintendo, no serious gamers want a Wii, if you want our loveable Mario to survive, please unleash his future games on real consoles.

even if he tries to be funny... 2010 that's a joke that's been cold for a while.... if he doesn't try to be funny, then yeah... IGN worthy.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Those guys who think this isn't a joke need to take a clue.

Above: still the best game of the year.
