Good boost all around, except for the PSP which actually fell... :( Hope that the PS3 can pull it out when Uncharted hits next week. Wii sells excellent in america, Pre-galaxy, wonder what next week has in store for us. 360 sales rise yet again... for what? maybe CoD4? And DS is king what else can we say.

I'm really shocked that the 40GB/pricecut PS3 is not pushing a little more hardware. Is it not being advertised?

Wii continues to hold the crown. The only week that might be in question between now and the new year is next week with Mass Effect coming out.

Wow ! I thought the 360 would do good but they can +/- keep it up with the Wii.

Wii will be over 200k next week with Galaxy if these hold out. Although I doubt all of this is becuase of Mario but because of raised shipments. But may be because NIntendo raises shipments with their big games. That's probably the most likely.

And these 360 numbers just can't be right. The've been way overtracked for quite some time. Of course don't quote me on that but just saying.

@scotland yard I have seen a ps3 comercial on at least once ever 15 minutes when watching tv... I am in thier key demograpgic, but god im getting sick of it already i thought it was cool the first two dozen times i saw it. and it does push the price at the end of it.


curiously i have not seen any wii or xbox specific comercials, only their names on multiplatforms

@zucas, 360 sales would go along with how ea broke down their gaming revenue people buy it and buy lots of 3rd party games, its library seems to have achieved critical mass of enjoyment 

wow wii sell 192k without galaxy,im thinking with galaxy it will do 205k

PS3 sold 73,000 units vs wii's 84,000 and 360's 55,000

America is the biggest market even though sony have japan and europe. They cannot compete with 360.

360 was actually undertracked last month once NPD came out. We'll see if that's the case again on Thursday.

I have this prediction already since august, so yeah I'll probably end up wrong about that one. I didn't think Sony would drop the price for a second time. 

But there are about 7 weeks of sales left in 2007. Last week the PS3 sold 136.00, this week probably around 170.000.

Let's be generous and say PS3 will sell 200.000 ww for the rest of the year. Currently it is at 5.7 M + (7*200.000)=7.1 M. I don't think that's too far off.
