30% increase for Wii, 25% increase for X360, 16% increase for PS3.

Good for the PS3.....

Up from 20k to 65k.

What does this mean? 40gb did not fail, and 80gb is selling better.

Wii will only continue to grow with the release of Galaxy. I predict next week will be around 225k for the Wii. Awesome sales for DS, Wii, 360. PS3 is still struggling compared to its competitors. PSP is selling one for every two DS it looks like. Not a bad number, in my opinion.

We can see that holiday sales are starting to pick up =]

If wii did 192k before galaxy, how much is going to do after galaxy ?

I think the ps3 sales are still bad... a full week of the 40gb with R&C available, with seasonal boosts and only 63k?

Well, at least they got Japan for a week or two

Good for the PS3? In my opinion it just lost its last opportunity to be 2nd in weekly sales for a single week from now till the end of the year. Even with increased sales in Japan, it won't be enough to cover the huge gap we're seeing here .

360 also very impressive.
Like I said in the thread about "PS3 back from the brink" the 40.000 boost in Japan might be good but compared to the numbers Wii and 360 already sell before black friday in the States it's seems clear to me that it isn't going to be a great holiday for PS3.

what boosted the 360? cod4? delayed ace combat purchases? bundles becoming more avalible? honestly i did not expect gains till next week.

There is not way the ps3 is going to end up with only 6.4M install base by the end of the year. By the end of november it might be at 6.4...

I think that Nintendo is just sending more. Being that they still are impossible to find, they will still sell out regardless of SMG or not.
