Mass Effect has really grown.  Hopefully the third one can sell 1.2 million or higher its first week.

Don't u fink Fable II can hit 4 million? It's at 3.4 mill now and still selling 10-15,000 per week. There's still hope. 4 millon is such a great number.

I dont think ME2 has a chance at 4 million though, it won't have the same legs as Fable II.

im not going to play it. but only because its an rpg, which i despise of. but for fans of the series, it sounds like this games should be goty!!!

It will sell great, and a great start.

I don't think it will quite sell as well as Uncharted 2, which opened to similar numbers, as that was selling through a holiday, but it should certainly sell 3m maybe 3.5m

I love ME2 but it's not an RPG, it has a few very diluted RPG elements in the gameplay but even those can be completely ignored. There is no reason why the game wouldn't appeal to people that don't like RPG's.

It will be probably pretty frontloaded though because it appeals mainly to the people who have played first one. LTD will be about 2.5milj imo.

Alot of people see ME2 as more of a TPS (third person shooter) with rpg elements and a interactive changeable story / world. Mass Effect 2 is quite a bit different from Mass Effect.
