This may seem like an easy question to answer at first, but, at least for me, it's a difficult one. It's the same thing as for films and books. I'm the kind of person who really enjoys to revisit media I have already consumed before. It's like "I know this is good, so why not try it again?" Also, it's not rare for me to get reluctant to consume a new game and books, specially when I know they are one of those in which I'll have to dedicate many hours in a span of weeks or months to finish it. Do you have an opinion about this?

There are about a hundred worthy games at least I've never even done a second playthrough of because I want to play new to me games.
It would suck to lose it on new to me games, sure. But considering I could replay so many that I might've never replayed, that's worth it.
There are tons of open-ended games or multiplayer games I can't afford to lose playing.

Games that I already played, and about new games, I will watch some streamers that I like playing the game.

I already mostly replay stuff. I’m an 80s kid, that was the norm.

New games all the way, replaying something I have already experienced can be fun, but it can never match the excitement of discovering something for the first time.

Novelty just gives more dopamine.

I mean ive been playing games for over 30years, thats a ton of time and a gigantic library. Ill stick to games ive played already.  Plus newer games never feel as satisfying as my all time favs.
