so i have amassed a pretty good amount of switch games since launch, i have like a bin just full of them. i honestly dont even remember what i have, i just buy them in throw them in there still in the shrink wrap. it isnt often that i get to actually play one because im so busy all the time, but i like having them and occasionally i will want to play something. so ill have a couple games in my night stand that i cycle through and whatnot.

but i have to be honest, it has felt like such a burden to switch out my switch games (LOL) whenever i want to play something different. so what i have been doing is repurchasing all of them through the switch online shop so i dont have to worry about it anymore lol. i get thats the appeal of digital games, and im not a digital game guy by any stretch, i always want my physical copy. but the beauty of this is that i have a physical copy already, so i can just buy it digitally, and if my digital copy disappears in 50 years or whatever, it doesnt matter because i still have the physical copy!

i feel like this is such a genius idea and i cant believe i havent thought of it before, so i wanted to share it with all of you in case some of you guys never thought of it either. you really do get the best of both worlds this way, i really recommend it. also, this has the added benefit of giving more money to nintendo, so there is another little perk there you get with it.

i am still in full support of boycotting GKCs for all the same reasons everyone has already discussed, my new little strategy here doesnt really affect that at all because those things are still useless. but yeah, if we just did things this way, it really would end the physcial vs digital debate for good. buying the game twice is so much easier than bickering about it and trying to figure out what would be better and all that stuff.

discuss.
