Wuhu Island is back, 17 years later, in this followup to 2022's Nintendo Switch Sports.

Releasing exclusively on Switch 2, 22nd October 2026.

Believe it or not, the thing that got me most excited during the Direct was that opening shot of Wuhu Island. Wii Sports Resort is one of my favorite Wii games. I have a lot of happy memories of that game.

I’m hopeful this game can recapture the magic. I didn’t love Switch Sports but I’m prepared to love this one.

One of my most hyped announcement of this Direct. Loved the Wii game and I've been waiting for this for so long. A friend of mine and I will play this to death once it releases.

I squealed when Wuhu Island appeared. Now if only they hadn't wasted so much time on the thumb war minigame, it would have been a perfect announcement.

I need them to give more screen and attentions to Miis , they are the stars!!!

If Nintendo pumps as much single-player content in this release as they did with the Wii originals, then this is a "I will get that on a discount" purchase. If we're looking at more of OG Switch Sports however, then I'll pass. Seeing 12 sports instead of (what was it, like 5 in Switch Sports?) is a very promising sign.

Come on, Nintendo. You've got an easy win here. Gimme that single-player content!

I miss the Wii motion plus controller, and the smell of the controller

Will get, hoping it has some decent singleplayer content. Challenges and progression.
