NINTENDO is reportedly circulating false information internally as a deliberate strategy to identify leakers.

These may affect some news we heard this past days, including:

• Luigi’s Mansion movie and new game
• New classic-style Star Fox game on Switch 2
• The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake
• Next 3D Mario delayed until 2027 Source:

Would be wild if all of this turns out to be misinformation, im sure some people will have broken hearts

That is an interesting strategy. Let's see if Nintendo is gonna be able to catch their leakers

Now this leaked information is also part of the strategy? I don't know what to believe anymore

That’s standard industry practice— nothing new here. Though the thought of Nate having received fake insider info would be enough to give me a stroke, especially when we’re talking about a remake of OoT and the return of Fox McCloud.

Edit— Nate’s response is exactly what I was thinking:

Whoever is leaking this accurate information as of late, is most likely doing it based on things they’ve actually seen. Now, I believe Nintendo could be purposely spreading real information to catch the leaker.

Im really wondering if the OOT remake is fake

That cless guy sounds like he gets upset when someone spreads a rumour, weird.

I have been skeptical out of the gates.  OoT Remake doesn't seem Nintendo to me.

Is there any reason to expect this Nintendo Prime person to be correct about anything at all? What is their track record?
