Looks like Resident Evil Requiem is the first game to use the more advanced PSSR version.

New PSSR (2.0)



Digital Foundry also hinted, that there will be a toggle to system wide, apply the new PSSR 2.0, to older games that already support PSSR 1.0.

Nice, significantly less blurry.



The new PSSR looks nice. The difference is most noticeable for me with the strands of hair being more distinct in 2.0, whereas they blend and blur together in 1.0.
