Forums - Gaming - The Game Awards 2025 - December 11th - 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT / 12:30am GMT

This is it! One of the biggest gaming shows of the year, where lots of new games announcements, lots of surprises (at least that's what we hope) and the best games are given their deserved merit and recognition.

Sony fans, Xbox fans, Nintendo fans, PC fans... Everybody joins to see what's next in the video game history.

I must admit that I only watch it due to the trailers and the World Premieres. But the awards are fun too.

Anyway, it's almost time. Will we see some groundbreaking announcement?

22 Hours left to go.

Around the Network

Sega is what I’m looking most forward to. New Sonic? Persona 6? Something else? (I’m really hoping for a tease at the next Sonic.)

Final Fantasy VII Remake (Part III) is also on my radar. Really hoping we get something. Maybe a name reveal?

…as far as the awards are concerned, they screwed up the nominees so IDC all too much. Kirby Air Riders missed the cut off, MKWorld was snubbed in Best Music, DKBananza was snubbed in three/four categories, Sonic was snubbed in best Film Adaptation, E33 will steal the indie awards, etc. It’s all just a mess and it’ll just make me frustrated thinking about it.

Ehh... I prefer to watch it because of the games announcements too.

I love when I get new games to hype. And knowing that TGA has an insane audience, it's not hard to think that some companies would wait for it to show their biggest projects.
