Forums - Nintendo - Often forgotten Nintendo games you think deserved more recognition?

Nintendo has a lot of games. And I mean A LOT. It's not hard to think that some of them ends up being forgotten by people.

I made this thread because I decided to give a chance to Mario & Luigi: Brothership, and while playing it I was thinking about the other games in the series, and then I though: "Wait... Wasn't there a fourth game after Bowser's Inside Story? It's not Paper Jam, it's some other..."

And yeah, I remembered it: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

This game got a 81 Metascore, even higher than Brothership, and yet people seems to forget about it. Maybe because it was released on 3DS, and we all know it wasn't as popular as the GBA and the DS? Or maybe I'm imagining things...?

So, I never played Dream Team, and I don't know if the game is actually good. Maybe people who played it can give a better idea.

Do you know other Nintendo games that are actually good, but rarely mentioned?

Disaster: Day of Crisis was really solid.

Does Geist count? I think Nintendo helped develop it, and also published it. Pretty good game.

Would Snipperclips count? Technically not Nintendo developed, though it was Nintendo published. I never hear anyone talking about it… such a delightful game! I thoroughly enjoyed playing it back in December 2023.

Mischief Makers N64
Eternal Darkness Gamecube

Around the Network

Though it received a lot of attention at the time, the original Starfox is quite overlooked and neglected today due to its very early 3D graphics, which is a shame as its a great game with a phenomenal soundtracks, awesome space opera action, and epic boss fights.

Kirby 64, Excite Truck, and Excite Bots were also fun games that are rarely talked about.

Star Fox is one of those games that didn't aged very well for some people. I like it though, revolutionary for the SNES.

I don't think Kirby 64 is that overlooked, but I never heard about Excite Bots.

Mischief Makers is a Treasure made game, but yes it needs to be remembered.

How about Captain Rainbow on the Wii? The one where you find Birdo's vibrator to prove she is female. Wierd but interesting game.

Speaking of Treasure, more people should play the Sin & Punishment series.

Does anyone Remember Battalion Wars or Wario World on Gamecube?

This was the first thing I was going to add. It's a shame they never made a HD remake.
